About us

Arcobaleno Cancer Trust was founded in 2017 by cousins and friends of the Carnevale family. Over the past decade we have seen our closest family members succumb to the battle against cancer, prompting us to turn tragedy to triumph by creating this Trust.

Fundraising

ACT has raised over £500,000 to support the advancement of medical research into the causes, treatments, and potential cures for all types of cancer.

Support us

With your help, we are directly funding research that can act as a step towards finding a cure for all forms of cancer.

The fight against cancer

Starts with research

Our aim is to support the advancement of medical research into the causes, treatments, and potential cures for all types of cancer. We plan to do so by directly funding the individuals and projects pioneering cutting edge cancer research in the UK.

What We Do

Our overarching aim is to assist in the treatment and care of those suffering from cancer. We do this by providing grants to support their care, and by directly funding cutting edge research into the causes, treatments, and potential cures for cancer in the UK.

Aside from our ongoing support of the Royal Marsden Cancer Charity, we’ve supported two major research efforts and allocated a number of smaller grants over the years.

Siobhan’s Story

Our beautiful daughter Siobhan was the youngest of our 3 children. Siobhan was such a character, really cheeky and funny and loved her baby dolls. She became ill just after her second birthday and following a scan in July 2017 it was found she had a large tumor in her abdomen. Siobhan was rushed to Great Ormond Street and after further scans and tests she was diagnosed with Stage 4 high risk Neuroblastoma at just 2 years and 2 months old. Siobhan passed away on 1st June 2019 with mummy and daddy holding her. She was 4 years and 1 month old. Read more
